iPhone 13. Pre-orders start today and it does not seem to be as big of a deal this year as it was last year.
I say it doesn’t seem to be as big of a deal because Reddit is not buzzing with as many posts and the articles don’t seem to be going as crazy online.
If you want to see all of the specs, I recommend checking out this article from Tom’s Guide which goes into greater detail on all of the specs on all 4 new devices.
I’m just going to post my thoughts on the devices and whether or not I will be keeping my iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5 for another year today.
iPhone 13 Mini is a great device for the price. With the bigger batteries and the OLED screens I definitely think there is a market for this phone. While it isn’t as wide of a market as say the regular 13, there is still a market. In fact, my husband is going to be purchasing the iPhone 14 Mini when he goes to upgrade from his 11 next year. He has the regular 11 and does not do much on his phone at all and wants a smaller form factor so he is excited to go for a smaller phone that is easier to handle in one hand.
Personally, I’m going to be going for the iPhone 14 next year. The Pro models are nice but for the average consumer, which I am not, it is overkill. The average user does not need all of the features that the camera has, they just want a phone that does what they need it to do and does not need to be charged very often. I have the iPhone 11 and while I am a tech nerd I don’t even need all of the features the iPhones have. I just want a phone that does what I need it to do (Twitter, Texting, Phone Calls, and Discord) and stays alive all day.
What do you think of the new devices? Are you going for a new one this year or next?
